Plant tissue culture involves culturing plant cells, tissues or organs in a sterile and controlled environment on a nutrient medium. It is a powerful tool for basic research as well as Commercial applications, enabling rapid propagation of plants, production of disease free plants and genetic modifications. Because of much importance of plant tissue culture, it has been introduced as an important subject of study for graduate and post graduate course. The present book is divided - into six chapters.
